As a Shed Maker, you will be responsible for constructing sheds using jigs to ensure consistent quality and craftsmanship. This role requires attention to detail, strong hands-on skills, and the ability to work with various materials and tools.

Key Respon­sibi­lities:

  • Utilise jigs and templates to build and assemble shed components accurately.
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials as per the design specifications.
  • Assemble and fit together panels, frames, roofs, and doors using both manual and power tools.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
  • Inspect completed sheds for quality control, ensuring they meet company standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of workshop equipment and jigs.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in shed making, carpentry, or a related trade (not essential but a plus)
  • Experience working with jigs and other assembly tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move materials as required.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,256.80 per year
