We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales & Yard Operative to join our team here at North West Timber Treatments.

As a Sales & Yard Operative you will be working as part of an established team and reporting to the Branch Manager, supporting with a wide range of activities from serving customers to coordinating and handling products. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to work in a fast paced environment and wants to gain some hands-on experience.
Responsibilities will include:

Exceeding customers expectations by dealing with them in a professional & efficient manner either by telephone or face-to-face on the sales counter.
Develop & maintain sales leads with both existing & new customers.
Following up sales quotations & enquiries
Gaining customer service skills to communicate effectively with customers.
Serving customers
Taking orders
Dealing with trade members and general customers
Booking goods in
Coordinating stock location placement
Answering the telephone
Cash handling
End of day report
Ordering stock
Picking and packing orders
