Keep the little ones entertained with NWTT
The school holidays are finally upon us and we have a whole host of ideas for keeping the little ones entertained outdoors this summer . . .
Play Time
Allow the little ones to create mini adventures of their own with our bespoke-made children's garden furniture range, designed to entertain for hours.
Looking for some extra space to dine outdoors as a family?
Not forgetting those all-important extras for the garden play and sandpit . . .
Get Gardening
There's always gardening tasks to be done, and what better way to get the job done quicker than by getting the little ones to give a helping hand.
We have a range of gardening essentials to get started . . .
Top tip: inspiring children to enjoy gardening and being outdoors can provide the perfect half term hobby. Capture their interest with brightly coloured flowers and introduce them to basic garden tools such as a trowel to turn over soil!
Build your own Bird Box
Bird boxes are essential for helping our feathered friends and the best time to put them up is during the autumn months. Building and decorating a bird box is the ideal summer family activity, even on those rainy days indoors.
Check out the RSPB guide below on how to build your very own bird box >

Making sure you have the right wood is key. The thickness is important to insulate the box from cold and heat and to stop the box from warping. We recommend Rough Sawn Softwood Timber 150mm x 22mm, 1.5m will be enough to make a standard sized box.
Make sure to share photos of your complete bird boxes across social media - we would love to see them!
